IAB Podcast Upfront 2019 to Feature 12 Industry Leaders Showcasing the Latest in Original Digital Audio Programming on October 16 in NYC

New York, NY (August 14, 2019) –IAB, the national trade association for the digital media and marketing industries, today released its roster of presenters for this year’s IAB Podcast Upfront, which will take place at The Henry Luce Auditorium at Meredith Corporation’s Manhattan headquarters in New York City on October 16. This year’s line-up will include some of the most influential names in podcast programming: Authentic, ESPN, iHeartRadio, Market Enginuity, Meredith Corporation, Midroll/Stitcher, NPR, Pandora, Slate, WarnerMedia Podcast Network and The Roost (Divisions of WarnerMedia), Westwood One, and WNYC.

Now in its fifth consecutive year, the full-day event is the industry’s premier digital audio content marketplace, offering an insider’s look at new and renewed original programming, including popular shows such as “Adulting,” “CNN’s Boss Files with Poppy Harlow,” “Conan O’Brien Needs a Friend,” “’How To!’ with Charles Duhigg,” “NPR’s Hidden Brain with Shankar Vedantam,” “PEOPLE’s Cover-up,” “The Ron Burgundy Podcast,” “Rooster Teeth Podcast,” “Serial,” “Straight from the Hart with Kevin Hart,” “TED Talks Daily,” “The Ben Shapiro Show,” and “Woj Pod,” among many others. Attending brands and media buyers will have the unique opportunity to engage with podcast creators and talent, preview soon-to-be-released programming, and secure future sponsorships—all in advance of the wider market.

The IAB Podcast Upfront 2019 will kick off with a keynote address from Wondery. In addition, PodcastOne will release research that provides insights into the podcast arena.
